CRAG Plans

CRAG have been working to develop the designs following on from the consultation in Spring 2024. The site has now been mapped out in detail as seen in the top two plans. A CRAG sub-group conducted a rigorous selection process to select Kompan as the provider of the play equipment. The designs of the toddler and junior parks are further down the page. The  Toddler park will be the first play area to be built, the existing play equipment will remain useable during the construction process of the new play equipment. These remain iterations of the design and there will be details that are changed but we hope that these give a clearer idea of the equipment that we expect to see at Coaley.

The below designs for the junior equipment are to provide an impression of what we aim to be able to achieve in the future. We intend to have a large play structure similar to the one seen below with bespoke play equipment surrounding it. This junior park design is only an initial draft design.
