CRAG are seeking quotations from suitably qualified suppliers for the supply, installation and construction of the children’s parks, the groundwork, surfaces, paths and fencing on the Coaley Recreation ground.

Our mission for the recreation-ground regeneration is to:
1 Create and maintain a rich natural environment where everyone, especially children and young people, can enjoy the outdoors, play freely and creatively with their peers and follow their interests.
2 Develop an inclusive, child-friendly, free, adventurous play space in the heart of Coaley where people of all ages and abilities can come and explore, create, build friendships and generally hang out.
Our plan is guided by the Play England Design Principles for Play: a guide to creating successful play spaces:
are 'bespoke'
are well-located
make use of natural elements
provide a wide range of play opportunities
are accessible to both disabled and non-disabled children
meet community needs
allow children of different ages to play together
Quotations should include any charges for the post installation inspection and the recommended maintenance regime to Coaleyrecactiongroup@gmail.com by 25 October 2024.
Quotations will be evaluated on the basis of cost verses quality in meeting the design principles.
