The village’s most colourful, calming, and creative corner is officially one year old — and what a transformation it has been. From a bare patch of ground next to the shop to one of Coaley’s most loved, visited, and uplifting spaces, the Sensory Garden has become a true community triumph.

A huge thank‑you to everyone who grew seeds, planted, watered, weeded, swept, nurtured, and championed this extraordinary little haven. Your hard work has created one of the brightest, most joyful spots on the Rec.

Our biggest thanks go to Elizabeth Ely, whose brilliant design for CRAG and tireless dedication continue to shape the garden into something truly exceptional.
