The Play Day session today was well attended and continued the success of our summer programme. 

 The weather held and some 100 people came and enjoyed the bubbles, drumming, arts and crafts, space hoppers, kites, games and circus activities delivered by World Jungle on the rec.  

There was lots of fun, socialising and a good community spirit.  

We were joined by a group of SDC officers including Brendan Cleere - Strategic Director of Place and  Keith Gerrard - Strategic Director Communities hosted by Martin who appeared impressed by our activities and plans.
