Great work by Coaley Rangers (part of Girlguiding Gloucestershire) on Monday 1st July, who painted the design on the village bus stop! And thanks again to Bailey Paints (Rabart Decorators Merchants) for the donation of paint.
The village Guide unit came to inspect their finished artwork too!
Volunteers will finish the bus stop off by painting the bench and the floor.
CRAG volunteer Sarah and her daughter picked up the paints that Bailey paints (Rabart Decorators Merchants) have donated
As part of the Summer Clean Up on Sunday 2nd June 2024, the Bus-Stop was cleaned and tidied in preparation for the Rangers section of Girlguiding UK to paint their artwork on the inside.
The previous colored-blocks had been painted ~25 years ago by the guiding/scouting association at the time so we're honored to be able to keep up this tradition!
The white-washing is purely done as a preparatory stage so that the new paint has a nice, clean surface to stick to. Although we don't fully know the details of the new design yet, the bus stop won't be staying white for long!
Please be mindful of the wet paint while this is all underway as the paint will take time to dry.
The notice board on the side of the bus stop will also continue to be used for CRAG information / posters so please keep checking here as you walk past to see what else we are up to!
