In April 2025 three trees were planted in the community space sponsored by members of the Coaley Community. We have enjoyed seeing them settle into their surroundings and grow leaves and then shed them again this Autumn.
They are field maples (Acer campestre 'Elsrijk') and were carefully selected for the site.

November 2025
This morning 3 horse chestnut trees were planted on the rec. These trees are 4 years old, having been collected as conkers from the churchyard and looked after by Elise and her family. We were thrilled to have been contacted by Elise as these trees form part of our ongoing planting plan.
