We had a wonderful evening learning about bats from Megan (Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust). 37 villagers met on the rec, Megan talked us through the native bats of Britain and those known to be living in Gloucestershire and taught us how to use the bat detectors and then we watched and waited and were rewarded!!
We saw common serotine and common pipistrelles in the churchyard, the serotines put on quite a show!
We then were treated to a display of noctules and myotis’ at the end of Norton’s Alley.
